Amid relief, BJP mum on verdict

The acquittal of senior BJP and other Hindutva faces in the 1992 Babri mosque demolition case on Wednesday was welcomed by BJP functionaries named in the case, but the party did not issue any formal response even as there was a sense of vindication that saffron seniors had not been held guilty by the court.
