Coronavirus updates: India reports 44,230 new cases and 555 deaths in 24 hours

India has reported 44,230 new Covid-19 cases, 555 deaths and 42,360 recoveries in the last 24 hours. The recovery rate was recorded at 97.38 per cent. India's active caseload currently stands at 4,05,155.
