Eknath Shinde to be next Maharashtra chief minister, oath at 7:30pm

Shiv Sena leader Eknath Shinde will be the next chief minister of Maharashtra, BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis announced on Thursday. Fadnavis made the announcement after meeting governor B S Koshyari at Raj Bhavan and staking claim to form the government. The oath-taking ceremony will take place at Raj Bhavan at 7:30pm.
