GE Aerospace signs MoU with HAL to produce fighter jet engines for IAF

The aerospace unit of General Electric announced on Thursday the company signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) to produce fighter jet engines for the Indian Air Force (IAF). The agreement includes the potential joint productionof GE Aerospace's F414 engines in India. This development comes amidst PM Narendra Modi's State Visit to the US.
