Lok Sabha security breach: Over 30 MPs, including Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury, suspended for causing ruckus

33 Lok Sabha members, including leader of Congress Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury, were suspended for causing ruckus over security breach issue. The suspended MPs, including K Jayakumar, Vijay Vasanth, Abdul Khaleque, were named by the Chair and parliamentary affairs minister Pralhad Joshi moved a motion regarding the suspension. The lower house witnessed chaotic scenes during the introduction of key bills with opposition leaders protesting over the security breach. Opposition parties have criticized the suspension, demanding action against BJP MP Prathap Simha and a statement from Union home minister Amit Shah.
